No, the default is 2.5.2-1 -- the previous version is 2.5.1-2.

cygcheck indicates your Python installation is OK.

However, your Python installation seems to be severely broken.  Sorry,
but I don't know why.  AFAICT, no one else has reported a problem like
this before.
