Whoever you're logging in as doesn't have a home directory either because
of access permission problems or the directory doesn't exist.  Check that.

What Andrew said.  If looking at that and the successful machines doesn't
help, then I recommend providing information of exactly what you're doing
on the failing machine along with the cygcheck output as specified here:
