i.e., remove the "__cygwin_debug_size = SIZEOF(.gnu_debuglink);" line.

I can't see any mention of the word "debug" in
http://cygwin.com/faq/faq-nochunks.html#faq.programming.building-cygwin

There is nothing special that needs to be done besides typing "make".
