This is sort of a follow up of my other post: 1.5.25-15:bash failure with all basic commands On the same Windows Server 2003, when I install cygwin (after a full uninstall) I have no visible error reported during the install process, but the setup.log (attached) reports postinstall script failures with exit code=128. For example: 2008/08/28 11:57:31 running: E:\cygwin\bin\bash.exe -c /etc/postinstall/update-info-dir.sh 2008/08/28 11:57:33 abnormal exit: exit code=128 cygwin worked fine on the server for several months. any help would be very appreciated Phil Ten -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
