According to Shane McGovern on 6/8/2008 6:35 PM:
| I have cURL 7.16.3 installed (checked via curl -V at the prompt). I have
| downloaded esniper, tried to run ./configure but it complains that
| configure: error: cURL 7.1.1 or newer required. Before the stop, it also
| flags checking for curl_easy_setopt... no.
|
| Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

You are probably missing the curl-devel package, which includes the
headers and libraries for developing programs that link against curl.
Rerun setup.exe and select it (selecting curl alone is insufficient). But
if you had followed these directions:

Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html

and posted 'cygcheck -svr' output as a text attachment, we'd know for sure.
