My home PC if Cygwin is installed on C:\ then it creates a home folder "C:\cygwin\home" and stores my personal profile/settings there. On my work PC Cygwin is installed in E:\. Cygwin uses "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner" as the personal profile/settings folder. Problem is, some scripts like Perl's CPAN doesn't work 100% because it doesn't like the spaces in "C:\Documents and Settings\" path. For example: sh: /cygdrive/c/Documents: No such file or directory HELP! -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
