Works fine for me:

$ id
uid=3D1006(rberber) gid=3D545(Users)
groups=3D513(None),544(Administrators),545(Users),544(Administrators),1019(=
vcusr)

$ su jabel

$ id
uid=3D1016(jabel) gid=3D545(Users) groups=3D513(None),545(Users),1019(vcusr)
