I dunno what exactly happened or how, but I once found my xorg-x11-fnts package in the local package dir was messed up in some way that fatally confused setup.exe in a similar fashion. What worked for me was blowing away all the xorg-x11-fnts dirs that I could find in all the different per-mirror directories in my local package dir and rerunning setup.exe to let it download what it needed again. You might find it worth trying a different mirror just to be on the safe side, but I just used an ftp client to fetch xorg-x11-fnts-6.8.99.901-1.tar.bz2 manually and then verified its md5sum, so I think the mirror itself is ok. cheers, DaveK -- Can't think of a witty .sigline today.... -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
