If you're talking about rxvt or xterm, etc, then pass the appropriate
command line parameter when invoking, or set it in .Xdefaults..


rxvt -sl 2500 => scroll length 2500
or add to .Xdefaults => Rxvt.saveLines: 2500


xterm -sl 2500
or .Xdefaults => Xterm.savelines: 2500
