  Troll.  You know the answer really and you're only asking because you can't
/believe/ what you heard and want someone to actually come out and say it out
loud, so I will: 

  It's not a bug, it's by design, it is deliberate and Microsoft are never
going to "fix" it, because that's how they *want* it to work.

[*] - Of course, the phrase "by design" /usually/ doesn't include "design
techniques" such as... oh... say giving an overdose of intravenous
amphetamines to a delusional psychotic and encouraging him to bound round the
room like a demented gorilla while flinging alphabetti spaghetti at the walls
until it falls into a shape that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike
code, but that's apparently how Microsoft works....
