 Thanks to Rene Berber for the solution.
 
 Port forwarding (or "virtual server") of port 22 of my recently installed
 router D-Link DI-524 was the answer.
 "my-domain" is assigned to the router's IP via www.no-ip.com . The local
 computer's ip (in the local net) needs to be constant. 
 
 I didn't know how these things work...
