The docs on msdn.microsoft.com explain it.  However, subauth in Cygwin
is deprecated.  The new method is using a real LSA authentication module,
but it's not officially released yet.  It only exists in the developer
snapshots on http://cygwin.com/snapshots/

Did I mention that this is not officially released yet?  Use at your own
discretion.
