  I think you're being a bit over-sensitive there.  Some might consider
expecting others to do your most basic homework for you unfriendly, but I was
trying to describe the situation as literally as possible: you have downloaded
and installed a vast and complex software package without reading the manual.

  Don't please let the acronym put you off, despite the 'F' in the middle it
is also an everyday technical acronym that can still be used in a neutral
tone, depending on context, and I had hoped you would read it in that tone
owing to the complete lack of accompanying flames/insults/swearing/etc.
