Sorry. I don't know why I kept that sentence in there. I actually
tested info after renaming gunzip.exe to gunzip and it certainly does
fail. I located the problematic code in info and I'll have a new
release shortly. It was YA place in texinfo where decisions were made
about a "Windows" platform which don't make sense for Cygwin.
