That's because you're saying that Cygwin hasn't brought POSIX functionality.

As a matter of fact, in has already did, ableit not yet pure.  Well, Linux 
tries to be POSIX but isn't yet pure, don't you agree?

If you say that Cygwin hasn't brought POSIX, what do you think of all those 
*ported* cygwin apps?
