Hello.

This issue is currently discussed under the topics :
  - "Newly-installed bash 3.2.9-10 (cygwin 1.5.24-1) exits when I try to execute
a program"
  - "xp64 fails with latest download"

At the moment, no solution to this problem seems effective.

Best guess : revert to older version or run on a 32 bit version of XP until a
patch has been found.

Sincerely,

jmc
