Still not a simple test case. I am not in the mood to download and build
libassuan myself, as I don't anticipate using it. If you want this fixed,
it is better for you to isolate the problem into a small, self-contained C
program, and post that program to this list, rather than pointing us to a
third-party program that, for all I know, may be trying to do something
that POSIX does not guarantee is portable.
