I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get around this error with ash. The output below comes when I'm in ash and I enter either: /bin/rebase -b 0x65000000 -T filelist.txt Or: /bin/rebaseall Thanks you. ________________________________________ From: Joseph Koenig Sent: Monday, November 20, 2006 9:40 AM To: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com Subject: RE: cygheap base mismatch detected - only on Vista x64, not seen on Vista x86 ash.exe gives me the same 'cygheap base mismatch detected - 0x0/0x611668E0' when I run /bin/rebaseall with 0x65000000 and all the dll's in a file listing... Any hints? ________________________________________ From: cygwin-owner AT cygwin DOT com on behalf of Brian Dessent Sent: Sun 11/19/2006 6:17 PM To: cygwin AT cygwin DOT com Subject: Re: cygheap base mismatch detected - only on Vista x64, not seen on Vista x86 Joseph Koenig wrote: > I understand the e-mail but I am unclear as to the rebasing process. > Google has turned up a number of links but they're all related to a > problem with Python forking and I'm not sure if that mirrors the process > that I am supposed to do. > > Could someone elaborate a little on the rebasing process? If the stock settings don't work you might have to edit the line DefaultBaseAddress= in the rebaseall script as Corinna alluded in the linked message.
