Hi I'm getting above error when I try to ssh to locallhost on my Dell 610
laptop, running cygwin 1.5.22(0.156/4/2). Here's a bit more detail:

$ ssh -vvv localhost
OpenSSH_4.5p1, OpenSSL 0.9.8d 28 Sep 2006
debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config
debug2: ssh_connect: needpriv 0
debug1: Connecting to localhost [127.0.0.1] port 22.
debug1: Connection established.
debug1: identity file /home/admin/.ssh/identity type -1
debug1: identity file /home/admin/.ssh/id_rsa type -1
debug1: identity file /home/admin/.ssh/id_dsa type -1
ssh_exchange_identification: read: Software caused connection abort

Also I'm getting this from syslog-ng:

Nov 17 17:50:21 localhost sshd: PID 3776: error: ssh_msg_recv: read: header
Nov 17 17:50:21 localhost sshd: PID 3776: fatal: recv_rexec_state:
ssh_msg_recv
failed

From the research that I've done it seems that a lot of people seem to be
getting this problem when they're using McAfee 8.0, the problem is I don't
use this product. However, I am using AVG firewall 7.5, has anyone had
problems with this product? I've tried disabling it, but it doesn't seem to
help. To me it looks like more a problem with the ssh daemon, as I can ssh
to other destinations.

I'm also getting the same issue on a Dell 620 laptop. The instructions I
followed were:

http://pigtail.net/LRP/printsrv/cygwin-sshd.html

Can anyone offer me any tips?

Thanks,

James
