When execute makefile through make command, any compile line contains
the executive operator `(backquote), likes `pkg-config --cflags
gtk+-2.0`, would result in a compile error, reported by gcc/g++, which
said ": No such file or directory".

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards,
Zhenghui Zhou
