I've noticed that when I update a working xinetd system (I mean telnetd and ftpd and others - all work) all the available daemon are not working after that when i try to telnet localhost iget the below result netstat -an | grep 23 TCP 0.0.0.0:23 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to eranc.ad.checkpoint.com. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. now i must mention that before cygwin update i've checked telnet and it worked for me is there any fix for it ?
