I've noticed that when I install cygwin fresh on a new machine, my home directory seems to change location. Sometimes it's in C:/cygwin/home/[user], but on this machine for some reason its in C:/Documents and Settings/[user]. How does the installer determine where to put it? I have admin rights and access to create directories. The only difference with this machine is that it's on a domain. The other machines I use are standalone (like at home).
