Search the archives - this question was asked just last week.  The short
answer: cygwin is a volunteer effort, so the more people that volunteer,
the faster we can reach a product that the core developers consider stable
enough to release.  There is no fixed timeline, because this is not a
corporation.  And you are free to use snapshots and give feedback to this
list on how the snapshots are doing.

Again, this is a volunteer project.  The FAQ tends to lag a bit, so
documentation of the most recent known problems tends to be more in the
mailing archives rather than the FAQ, particularly if the problem has
already been fixed in snapshots.

 Consider opening up a free web based email account if your company
