OK,
I copied the 2 DLL files to /bin and now the service starts but stops on
it's own after about 5 sec.

Autoconf should have spotted this, I would have expected. Anyway,
resolver lib support is generally provided on cygwin by installing the
minires and minires-devel packages, but ...

... I don't believe it supports modern RR types like SRV. See the
