The experimental version did fix rsync here but broken command
output unfortunately.

Not sure if Corinna has had chance to look again at that as
when originally tested he couldnt reproduce the results I
have here i.e. missing / truncated output from remote commands.

N.B. The experimental version is -p4

I've rolled back to -p3 which is not based on pipes as all commands
returning missing / truncated output is unfortunately more disruptive
than rsync not working.

Hopefully Corinna can find some more time in his very busy schedule
to have another look at this issue as nailing it would be fantastic.
