IIRC, there was an analysis for this in another thread back in February:
<http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2006-02/msg00175.html>.  This is fixed in the
snapshots: <http://cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2006-02/msg00171.html>.  A
non-issue?
