The typical two responses to this are:

  - Build gcc 3.2 locally
  - Use the "Cygwin Time Machine" (Google for this)

Both of these options put you into "you're on your own" territory.  This 
list can't support home-made or obsolete packages.  The alternative is to 
change the code in question as required to compile with the current version
of gcc.  This approach is supported and is really the only option that makes
sense.  In case I need to underline this point, don't make the assumption 
that it will be easier and quicker to do one of the first two options I 
mentioned.  If it's not clear to you why such an assumption would be wrong, 
you shouldn't be considering these options.  If the statement makes sense to 
you, then you should already recognize that moving forward is the best 
bet. :-)
