I'm runnig the latest cygwin release on Windows XP. I'm having problems with file permissions in cygwin, chmod doesn't seem to work. After googling this I set the CYGWIN variable to "ntsec" and it still doesn't work. I first discovered this when trying to use a pub/priv key with ssh, ssh complains that the id_rsa file is world readable and won't use it! How can I fix this?
