It appears that that cygwin's version of emacs can't deal with windows drive names (e.g. c:/) for example when I try to open a file. Xemacs does not seem to have a problem with them, however. Is there a plan to fix cygwin's emacs, so that it can deal with these paths? Alternatively has someone written the reverse of cygwin-mount.el such that windows paths will be translated to cygwin paths? Thanks for your help.
