One more question..
Wondering where is the default bashrc located (or rc file which is
executed when bash is executed). 
I need to modify to point to my .profile.

It's just '/bin', not /cygdrive/c/cygwin/bin.  The extra
/cygdrive/c/cygwin is superfluous.
