I am having a problem using cygwin on both Windows 2k/2003. When I send a cmd into the background and then log out of the system, the process dies on me. I am using Ataman Telnet Server to login but that doesn't seem to be a factor. I have tried nohup without any luck as well. nohup startWebLogic.cmd > /dev/null& Does anyone have any other ideas for getting this process to stick?
