- I am about to release exim 4.51, which enables the
features in chapter 40 of
http://www.exim.org/exim-html-4.50/doc/html/spec.html
- Exim has a non-traditional configuration and makefile
system. All Makefile variables have default values
that can be modified by an OS specific Makefile
(OS/Makefile-CYGWIN) and further modified by
local options (Local/Makefile).
If you build exim (patched for Cygwin) with an empty
Local/Makefile, you get exactly the features present in
the pre-compiled version of exim available with setup.
This is explained in the README, in
/usr/share/doc/Cygwin/
