Subversion, a version control system which aims to be a compelling
replacement for CVS, has been updated in the Cygwin net distribution to
version 1.2.0-1.
This is a new upstream *feature* release.
The upstream release notes are here:
http://subversion.tigris.org/svn_1.2_releasenotes.html
For the Subversion 1.2.x release series, I have opted to remain linking with
Berkeley DB 4.2, as the procedure for upgrading Berkeley DB repositories
requires significant manual intervention. I'll review this decision when
Subversion 1.3.x nears.
Cygwin-specific packaging news:
There is now a subversion-python package, containing the Python bindings for
Subversion.
