[Disclaimer: Yes, I did STFW. 'tab completion dll site:cygwin.com' just brings up every post there's ever been about tab completion, because 'dll' occurs in just about every post there's ever been on any subject on this list!] Does anyone know why tab-completion doesn't work for .dll files? I don't mean in the first word of a command line, I know that only completes filenames of executables, but generally when you're entering the args for ls or cp or something like that, you can tab-complete any kind of filename. What makes dlls so special? cheers, DaveK -- Can't think of a witty .sigline today.... -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
