You mean the SETI AT home and related thread?  That's the only one I recall
along this line.  That was solved in 1.5.14 and I assumed that the OP had
actually run this problem against 1.5.14 as well, given his cygcheck output.  
That may be an invalid assumption.  Either way, it's probably worthwhile to 
check out the latest snapshot anyway (<http://cygwin.com/snapshots/>), given 
that what's there is very close to what will be 1.5.15.
