Hi Corinna and Igor > Does setting CYGWIN to "notraverse" help? Hum. I'll have to confess now. Today it works (i.e. even without notraverse)... I guess a reboot was necessary after changing the permissions (don't understand why). So I guess (but am not sure) Igor's suggestion was the right one after all. So, thanks a million. I'm happy now!
