Try
	grep "<Ctrl-v><Ctrl-i>"
i.e. type 4 characters being quotes <Ctrl-v> <Ctrl-i> quotes.
I think that works.
(I'm not certain that just typing <Tab> always (ever?) works, for me
anyway.)
