Honestly, are you expecting us to create and maintain Cygwin just to
cause trouble on people's machines?  Any software might or might not
cause trouble on an existing installation.  Nobody can tell you before
you didn't try.  So, what I can tell you is this:  Cygwin does *not*
cause trouble on *my* machine.  YMMV.
