In that case, it would be better to direct comments at an individual or
individuals specifically. Making general references implies that there's
some kind of general problem with a general solution. Addressing a concern
directly means one deals with any perceived infraction at the time it occurs
and with the person or people with whom one finds fault, making it plain
where one feels the problem is. That may be productive. It may not. But
at least everyone is then clear on what the issue is. Important things are
better not left to chance. Hm, is that a generality? ;-)
