teTeX version 2.99.7 is now available in the [test] distribution.
This is the first upstream teTeX 3.0 release candidate. When
teTeX-3.0 is released, I expect this to replace the 2.0 series soon.
teTeX 3.0 is a major upgrade. As such you may find the release notes in
/usr/share/texmf/doc/tetex/TETEXDOC.pdf
or
texdoc TETEXDOC
an interesting read.
Enjoy,
Jan.
