Right.  And the one in '/usr/local/bin' is the one that generated the 
error.  I'm not sure where you got that version but it's not available
via 'setup.exe'.  If you have the same problem with the version from 
'/usr/bin' or '/usr/X11R6/bin', then that's something you could follow-up
with on this list, though the problem would certainly be one of local 
configuration or file specific based AFAICS.
