Here is what I have.

$ which -a gs
/usr/local/bin/gs
/usr/bin/gs
/bin/gs
/usr/bin/gs
/usr/X11R6/bin/gs

$ gs -v
GNU Ghostscript 8.01 (2004-01-30)
Copyright (C) 2004 artofcode LLC, Benicia, CA.  All rights reserved.

$ /usr/X11R6/bin/gs -v
GNU Ghostscript 7.05 (2002-04-22)
Copyright (C) 2002 artofcode LLC, Benicia, CA.  All rights reserved.
