Patched gcc 3.4 + patched cygwin1.dll = success. Thanks a lot.

So, i have to ask 2 annoying questions:
a) is Brian Ford patch to threadfunc_fe gonna make it to the official
cygwin at some point in one form or another?
b) what can be done about the gcc/binutil thing? Should i raise the
issue with the binutils and/or gcc ppl or just sit on it?

PS: Excuse my ignorance, but is there a way to keep a local copy of
cygwin1.dll without getting caught by the cygwin-system-consistency police?
