You're using the "Direct" option here.  For your working apps that connect
to the internet, are you using "direct" or not?  If not, make sure you 
use the same settings for setup.  Perhaps your actually using a proxy?
Reviewing the configuration for Mozilla should help answer the question 
of what's being used.
