When running a java application in CYGWIN I get the following error: "Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap " I have set the maximum memory to 4 gigs using these instruction: http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/setup-maxmem.html This does not solve the problem. Does anyone know why I would get this error? Is it a problem between java for windows and CYGWIN? I'm running an Athlon 2800 with 512MB of ram on Win2000.
