Subject: | strace is broken (again) in CVS |

With a recent CVS build: $ strace echo hello -z strace: unknown option -- z Try 'strace --help' for more information. I posted a patch two months ago that will fix this: http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin-patches/2003-q4/msg00223.html Danny Smith recently reverted /src/winsup/mingw/mingwex/getopt.c, Which means we've come full circle and strace, the program that prompted this change, is right back where we started from. I interpret the total lack of response to my previous messages as indicative of indifference to the issues raised but I at least think the strace and ssp patch should be applied.
