I am having trouble getting proftpd running on a Windows 2003 server. (Also tested on Windows XP) I followed the instructions at http://www.tishler.net/jason/software/proftpd/proftpd-1.2.9rc3.README , but still cannot get it to run. At first I was getting the "unable the set uid" but I set the User and Group in /etc/proftpd.conf to my username and group. Now I get: 255.255.255.255 - PRIVS_SETUP: unable to setuid(): Permission denied 255.255.255.255 - PRIVS_SETUP: unable to seteuid(): Permission denied 255.255.255.255 - PRIVS_ROOT: unable to seteuid(): Permission denied 255.255.255.255 - PRIVS_RELINQUISH: unable to seteuid(PR_ROOT_UID): Permission denied 255.255.255.255 - PRIVS_RELINQUISH: unable to seteuid(session.uid): Permission denied Hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance.
