  Don't quite see how you read that into my words.  It certainly wasn't what
I thought I was doing.

  Fair enough.  It seemed that I wasn't starting a new discussion but
continuing on the theme "matters arising but not yet resolved" from the same
initial bug report / test case.

  However if you feel that threads on the ML should be kept *very* strictly
to one topic for the sake of making list archive searches more useful, I get
your point.
