I have recently installed Cygwin on a Win2000 Pro system. While trying to replicate the accounts from windows to Cygwin, I used the commands:

mkgroup -l > /etc/group
mkpasswd -l > /etc/passwd

the output of my group and passwd files are, respectively:
$ /etc/group

It doesn't appear any accounts were found. I am also unable to use "login" to switch to any other account. Any help would be appreciated.
