OK Now i understand a little bit (NOT 100%) the fine features of /usr/bin as mount point and as physicically existing directory. I encounter the problem while installing a tool running on Cygwin, that comes from MicroCross (www.microcross.com) XTools The tool installs all important things and the bash setup file to /usr/bin. In this case i can only rename my /usr/bin to some thing e.g. /usr/local/bin or the same.
